AUDITIONS: The Wizard of Oz!

The Barn Players, Inc. of Miles City are proud to announce the Spring Children’s Musical: “The Wizard of Oz”. Two opportunities for auditions:

Monday, March 10th
Tuesday, March 11th
Miles City Public Library public meeting room

Auditions are open to children of all ages and abilities. Over 30 parts are available for local youth, with a wide variety of singing, dancing and challenging lines. This production of “The Wizard of Oz” contains the great show-stopping music of the original MGM 1939 film, starring Judy Garland. Dorothy Gale of Kansas, like so many girls her age, dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world. Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they travel the universe of Dorothy’s imagination.

“Wizard” is directed by Barn Veterans Dan Hance and Hannah Nash, with choreography and group direction by Jenifer Mahan, and will grace the CCDHS Auditorium stage April 25th and 26th

Attention CCDHS students: rehearsals and preparation for "Wizard" will NOT conflict with your commitment to the current high school play (March 28 & 29). If you wish to audition for "Wizard" please contact the Directors Hannah and Dan to make the arrangements!

Youth wishing to audition should bring a parent or guardian for paperwork, and a short song to perform. Information on rehearsals, responsibilities, and performance specifics will be available for parental review during auditions. For more information on “The Wizard of Oz” or the performances, please contact the Directors at (406) 951-0560 or (406) 951-1030, or email the Barn
